Thank you Pastor Mark for such a moving remembrance of that horrific day 19 years ago. The scrolling names of those lost, some 2900 plus lives, combined with the background music was very powerful. Let us all pray for the lost souls and fallen heroes from 9/11/01.

We know we have to stop getting ourselves stuck in the past and step into the future but that day which is today back in 2001 was very important so many died many kids stayed without parents we all have to remember and honor it with respect and justice

For my school, we are making a poster dedicated to the people who risked their lives and who died in the attack and I chose to write the names of all the people who died and im not even half way done. We Will Never Forget The Tragedy That Happened At 8:46. So sad. :( :( :( :( :(

Robert Strickland Yes but their family members did not die. Most of the people commenting, if not everyone, have no relation to any one that died from 9/11. Most of the people commenting are just trying to make themselves seem more righteous by saying that they're crying and that it deeply hurts them. Do you honestly believe that shit? It's just sad that people only care about these almost 3000 lives and not for the millions that died in the middle east as a result of this.We feel bad for 3000 but not for 1000000? Why?Because theyre in another country. Like if youre going to cry, cry for the whole world and not just those in your house. Thats what pisses me off the most. Half these people only consider the lives of 3000 and not others. The other half persecute an entire religion when it was just a few group of people that caused this. Why are there so many sheep that only believe what theyre told.

"shedding tears" for these 2,977 and not for the 100,000's that die daily due to poverty, famine, war (caused by us) and terrorism is pretty sad. Why not shed tears for the 100s of thousands of Iraqi's and afgan's that died because of US? Maybe that is why our creator does not care, we are sheep that only eat what we are fed and don't want to go out seeking real food. If you're going to cry, cry for the whole world; not just for those in your neighborhood.

That is more than than people who died in the holocaust. So tell me again how I am sheep to propaganda. I know enough to say those we have have killed in Iraq and Afghanistan measure far less than those killed by their kinsmen...or maybe your propaganda doesn't track those. My tears are shed for people, not for political agenda.

Let's not only remember the fatalities from 9/11. Let's remember all the horrible deaths caused by religious extremism. Let's remember the second and first world war. Let's remember and be aware of the fact that the USA is causing unnecessary deaths across the Middle East. There were so many tragedies in the world and there still are. I don't know how we are going to fix this and with the upcoming election i do not really know how it's going to turn out and how long it'll take. The bottom line is that we must unite together.
