OMG the fella in the pink tie sitting next to Gillian Anderson (as Emily Maitless) is Richard Goulding, who played Prince Harry in the Channel 4 comedy series The Windsors! He was hilarious in the wedding scene where he reads his shopping list instead of his wedding vows!

Many years after the X-Files concluded, I happened to see her in an interview and was surprised to learn she is British. Additionally, I believe a new X-Files series would be well-received. Whether it's a reboot, sequel, prequel, or something else, the concept remains intriguing no matter the approach.

It's funny how the title of this video has to do with the X Files instead of her new Netflix Movie. The power the X Files has after all these years. It's good to hear she didn't give a definite no to coming back to the X Files if it were to come back. I live in Windsor in the UK, where Andrew lives. O know people who know him well. No0one has a good word to say about him and say his arrogance is beyond belief. Hi is totally wrapped up in his own importance and no-one is considered at all !

I would love to see a reboot of Xfiles. It is my all time favorite show.. before the Covid there was a short series where they came in contact with her son. The last thing I remember is the son leaving by diving into the water. I was just thinking of that show yesterday. I love Jillian Anderson.

When will Emily Maitlis inform the public about massive problems with Virginia Giuffre's stories? And Maitlis continued to talk about Prince Andrew but never mentioned that Giuffre told many untruths, had lots of inconsistencies & made false accusations - eg. Giuffre falsely accused Alan Dershowitz (she later retracted that accusation)

@@MTknitter22 He did not do what he is accused of - this is what the evidence shows: that it's very unlikely that he did it... She never provides the original of the photo when someone wants to examine it for important valid purpose (for example in litigation), and she changed her story about Andrew and talked nonsense (she initially said 3rd encounter with him was in New Mexico, then completely changed it to a different location and circumstances); plus she has zero credibility based on other proven untruths she told (eg. she initially claimed she was 14 or 15 when she met E.pstein; records show she was 17)

⁠@@agnesaac4008 Much of this narrative has been manufactured through social media - Like Chinese whispers, altered tidbits flooded the internet.. and perhaps troll farms to discredit her 🤷‍♀️ (that sadly seems to be the way in this day and age) .. She requested a trial.. FBI certified the picture as genuine.. Why would a person pay their accuser 12 million dollars to settle, instead of fighting to clear their name? In ending, what kind of person would accuse the accuser during an interview with the accused…

When she eventually moved back to the US ... she hated sticking out for her accent so had to learn an American accent ... eventually moved back to the UK and married and that's her home ... that's my understanding anyways

Emily Maitlis was always extremely rude and very objectionable in the way she conducted herself in the vast majority of her interviews with people at her time with the BBC. Although I admire Anderson , I cannot say the same for the person she plays. I was happy when I saw MTG a few days back telling Maitlis where to go!

@ffotograffydd no, because like all modern interviewers she interrupts and talks over her interviewees constantly. She uses to do this non stop on Newsnight etc. There is no way anyone can get their own point across if you do that. I like to hear BOTH sides (doesn't mean she is wrong in her opinion, but I like to make up own mind when watching an interview). In my opinion it is better to let the interviewee dig their own hole and then cut it to shreds afterwards. THAT is good journalism. Talking over someone never is.

The movie Scoop is a repeat of the interview with Andrew so I didn’t get the point of it. Andrew and really all those who were raised in the Royal Family live in a ‘bubble’ so expecting them to respond as you and I would is naive. I thought that telling Andrew there would be no ‘Gotcha’ questions and then there definitely were was disingenuous. It felt familiar. I hate what happened with Epstein and Maxwell but I also recall the woman who accused the Prince also accused Alan Dershowitz but then a year later after Andrew settled with her, she suddenly wasn’t sure that it was Dershowitz then said she made a mistake. That’s sketchy to me.

She's bidialectal; her accent changes depending on where she is and who she is with. This must have been super confusing for her since she's in the USA, talking to an American about a British show that she filmed in the UK (where she lives)

@@mgg1991 although born in the US she grew up in the UK and her natural accent was British, but when she moved back to the US she hated sticking out, so learnt an American accent ... yep she moved back to the UK and married, lives there now
