What a RAVISHING man, always has been, ever so shall be. This song is to be played at my funeral so whilst I am gone, perhaps others will be changed by hearing it. I've loved Todd since 1978 and his music has always affected my life; I still play his songs everyday and they lift my spirits. Can you imagine meeting him? Just to walk along the beach and let him talk about his genius..............

I've been a fan since Nazz. I've met him three times and he's a kind, sweet soul as one might expect. Michelle is too.

What a beautiful thing. I'm 22 years old. Todd has been with me since day one thanks to my dad. I'm probably not aware of half the positive influence Todd has had on my psychological/spiritual development.
One of his most beautiful songs he had a way to make something work 😊.

@abrunomack - very cool. I am in awe of the number of people who share this sentiment. I too have turned to Todd's music for years to heal, calm rage and also to be angry if needed. He really is an expert at connecting the heart of an emotion to a lyric and melody. Keep up the awareness! Best J

What are riches untold in a life without compassion? For there's no winter as cold As a life without compassion. There's no prescription that's sold That can heal you like compassion. Yes!

Todd and the late great Vince Welnick on stage together again. The last time was when...and if you Todd fans can believe this...was when Utopia "opened" for the tubes on the Inside Outside tour. Sad days for the best band I've ever heard. But wouldn't it have been awsome to be in the audience then. Vince has since passed away from cancer, but we will always be able to hear those sweet notes when we hear this song and the Tubes.

You want more, and still more, Until you get more than you ever bargained for. Now its plain, clear as rain, I've seen your symptoms many times before. Lying on your bed of pain What will you have now? What are riches untold in a life without compassion? For there's no winter as cold As a life without compassion. There's no prescription that's sold That can heal you like compassion. Well you tried and you cried, And let your disappointment make you hard inside. You have doubt, you reach out, Still you're the only one you care about. Hiding in your sack of woe What do you need now? For there is nothing so sad As a life without compassion. And even love has turned bad, It was love without compassion. And you don't need what you had 'Cause you did not have compassion. Dying on your bed of pain What will you have now? You'll get no judgment from me, I can only feel compassion. And if that's what you need, I will give you my compassion. Just don't forget about me 'Cause we all need some compassion. Open up your heart So you can start to feel compassion. Get down on your knees, Pray to heaven for compassion. Everybody needs compassion. If you want to be healed Then you know you got to feel compassion

Just gotta say it... If you are listening to and or watching Todd Rundgren and you want to be insulting to either him or his wife... why are you wasting time being so negative. Bottom line, you either get it and appreciate him for all he has done or you don't. If you don't, I feel sorry for you and go elsewhere. There's no chain on your leg or gun to your head to force you to listen.

I deleted my comment because it was a little over the top, but it made me a little angry. I see you walked your comment back some.which is good. However saying she corrupted Todd, and a negative influence is also saying she's bad .Unless you hang around them as a couple every day,you have no idea about their relationship. If she makes him happy, then bless her heart. He deserves it. Peace
