Breaks my heart to see this. Around 1980 in Kingston, New York. My mother worked at the Ramada Inn. Utopia stayed at the hotel and Kazim Sultan autographed an album for my Mom. Due to divorce and moving I lost track of the album what a memory. Todd Rundgren would come into my best friends parents liquor store every Friday with his Porsche 928 and fill up the hatchback with liquor for the Bearsville studio.

Bummer to lose that for sure, I only recently found some of my old concert tickets in an envelope. Saw these guys a bunch of times, but the best one was seeing them on the POV tour in 1985, at Agora Ballroom in West Hartford, it was amazing. Tubes were actually headlining, but we were literally right up against the stage, we were stacking up our beer cans and the band were kicking them over, everyone came down and shook our hands. While the Tubes were on, I could swear I passed a bowl to Todd, I was like, "hey...", but he had a hoodie on and shot me a look, like he didn't want to be recognized, so I just kept enjoying the Tubes playing, because of _that,_ to this day I'm not sure it was him lol, but man it was a fun show....

I saw this tour May 10th. 1977 Buffalo New York and I was blown away.. I've seen all the good groups in the 70s all of them.. in this show to me is in my top three of all time.. all four members of Utopia are excellent singers and musicians... The RA is still one of my favorite albums of the 70s...
