I love how both parents are teaching their son two languages and this is exactly how to do it. One speaks and the other repeats in the other language. A real Mom and Dad dream team here. Those children are very lucky. Thank-you for sharing this. ❤

No, that isn’t “exactly” how to do it. Of course bilingualism is the greatest gift parents can give a child beyond the essentials (love, food, shelter &c.) but whilst it does no harm to translate things in that way, it’s not useful either. Each parent just needs to speak to the child in a different language and decline to understand when the child speaks to them in the other one. (I am a language teacher and have lived in many countries as a non-native speaker, and thus have also known many families where at least one parent came from outside the country.

I wonder how they are now? Jealousy. When he was hitting the pillow in the baby was sleeping that was a red flag. And then at one point he had a closed fist when he went near his sister. It's been just him getting all the attention. His first reaction was nice but I don't think it was going to last. The kid is probably a monster 👹 that can do no wrong. I wouldn't leave him alone with her.

And selfish, look at her freshly colored hair 🙄 and nowadays ppl r so selfish just wanna "get done" with "producing babies" in short gaps so that they can "get their lives back" 🙄 or start earning money again fast. In my personal opinion closer gaps are better than bigger gaps, as the relationship can get much closer.

I was three when my parents brought home my newborn brother. He started crying and I asked them to "bring him back" apparently lol 😅. I got over the crying real fast and we became the best of friends and still are today 30 years later. Much love to you all 💖💖.

I am 1 year and 9 months older than my brother. I apparently told my mum to "take baby to the park and leave him", and I also tried to convince her to give him to my Auntie Brenda as she wanted another baby (my auntie has 9 kids lol ) . I even tried fo convince my mum to give him away to strangers as well. You could say I wasnt impressed at all

I was three as well when my sister was born. I told my parents to put her in the trash, and when they said "no, you can't just put a baby in the trash", I pondered for a bit and answered "oh, right... Then bring her to the orphanage." 😂

This was the video I was waiting for. So beautiful...thank you for sharing it. I remember being just as emotional Zar, it’s because our family is all together for the first time. There’s so much to bringing in the older sibling to meeting the new one. Hormones drive emotions, but I think it goes so much deeper. The realization that your children are with you for the first time...that their lifelong friendship is beginning right then. And you, you look simply radiant with all the love pouring out of your eyes. Again, thank you for sharing so much. And congratulations again, and again, and again. I’m so happy for you all 💕

RIGHT in the feels. I remember when my son was 5 days old, my mom came down to my bedroom to see us and found my son happily asleep in the middle of our queen size bed and I was standing up next to the bed (no easy feat after an emergency c-section when you have a bleeding disorder and in the end I was readmitted at 3 weeks postpartum with haematomas under my incision line and I brought with me my son who because he had been home with me, couldn’t be exposed to other newborns so they put me in a private room), so I’m standing beside the bed in floods of silent tears, coursing down my face and over my hands that were covering my mouth. My mom panicked and dropped the laundry basket, rushing to my side asking me “what’s wrong?” I answered, turning my head and looked up into her eyes and said “I just love him so much that I feel my heart could burst”. Moments like these are a gift. Life is far too much of the crappy stuff, but as long as we have the capability to love and savour the good in our lives, we can face anything.

To be honest, I thought I was weird for crying my eyes out because my first was crying when I came home with her brother. It really broke my heart to hear her cry like that and it was worse bc I couldn’t carry her or even put her in my lap bc I was in so much pain from my c-section. This made me remember how emotional I was but in a good way. Congratulations!
