I was one of the first since I was just a beginner, but the final performer was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else, and I remember the shimmer and how he made the hi hat speak playing this exact song. I've always knew how Takashi-san's drumming has been an important aspect of Toe's music... it feels as if the dynamic variants of the drumming is singing (or perhaps rapping), and part of the lyrics.. Not just the drumming. If we listen closely, we can feel as if the guitar tunes are singing different melodies as well... Looking at you play for the 8th time now, I can truly see how magical this is. How the drumming part of this song is the actual singing. It is so harmoniously in tuned with the other instruments although it changes beats and rhythm. Thank you for sharing this to the world. I used to play the drums ages ago but now I feel like picking up the sticks once again. You do you Diana!

" We could just be playing toe's masterpiece on its own... but it wouldn't be the same.
