So, the main reason I watched this video/movie is because I've got a creative writing assignment. It's a short story assignment that must pertain anywhere from 3,000 words to 5,000 words. The teacher told us to pick a topic we could most relate to. I had two choices in mind. LGBT or self-harm and suicide. Ultimately I chose LGBT and began to look for inspiration. My thoughts led me to KZfaq; where I've watched countless videos on LGBT rights and such before I stumbled upon your video "Practical Things". I loved that video. Practical Things led me to this video and I am now subscribed. You're probably wondering why I'm commenting this and I'm getting there; Thank you. This not only gave me inspiration I needed, but it also added a lil' bit of courage to my "Coming Out Of The Closet" bucket; which is now half-way full. Thank you so much and I'm looking forward to more videos/movies!

First lgbt movie I've seen where both of them are happy and ALIVE.

How can someone deny others to feel like this because 'God said so'...? How can they not see that their love is as pure as any straight couples? That is beyond me.

Probably one of the best lesbian proposal scenes I've ever watched!!! I'm a lesbian from the Philippines and it breaks my heart that I may not have this type of relationship where we can get married. There are still a lot of hindrances for LGBT folks here. Hoping it'll change in the future! But kudos to the actors and the production team behind this short film. It's great!

I am a believer of God. I am a christian... I love this video!! Made me cryyy of happiness :') Don't let anyone tell you that God hates gay people..(here's the thing God dislikes sins but that doesn't mean he hates the people doing it.) They're trying to play God or trying to think what God would feel about a certain type of person.. If they say you'll go to hell or you won't be accepted in heaven.. ask them this... Why would a loving Father who loves His children very much that He won't let them enter into the kingdom of heaven??.. just because he\she happens to love someone who's of the same sex... There are lots of sins mentioned in the bible.. But people seem to just magnify this ONE. And don't confuse love & lust. God says.. Its what's in your heart that matters. That is why it doesn't matter whether you're rich or poor.. Or you have the most expensive things out there. Maybe sexual orientation don't matter either coz its what's in your heart that matters. Good day! This comes from a 17 yr old girl who has few gay relatives and recently had a close cousin come out of the closet.

I thought this was going to be a sad thing when I watched it! When she found the box inside of the cabinet, something about the way she looked at it gave off this "oh, here's the thing I've been hiding so that I could forget about 'her'" type of vibe. I thought the whole thing was a flashback to when she received the ring and that either something tragic happened to her love or things just didn't workout between the two. It took me a while, but I got it.

This is a treasure! I loved the message, often times people get caught up with the spectacle of engagements and weddings but the fundamental of it is just two people in love.

I'm completely in love with this short film watching this made me feel so many mixed emotions all at once and i'v always struggled with this because people tell me that i shouldn't feel the way a do about the same gender honestly Love is Love and this just perfectly shows this and it put the biggest smile on my face and i hope one day more people will see that love really is love it comes in all different kinds of shapes,colors,genders and its completely normal and there should be more equality!

i thought it was just going to be another short film. casually finding a ring etc but when i saw it was a lesbian couple, it made it 100 times better. it was bold and i loved it.

She was upset because she had hidden the engagement ring behind that particular bottle of wine, and knew that her girlfriend had found it before she had a chance to propose the way she wanted to.
