Togu literally means A Grand Wedding in Galo and considered to be the highest possession of a person in his/her lifetime...Moreover, If a woman is a togu wedded one then she is highly respected by her in laws and at the time of her death her last rituals are done with full honour... A fun fact😉

Mithun sacrifices ko dikane se tik tah

Dagjar bomjen is my maternal uncle, renowned priest(Nyibo) of my village Beye. Proud to see my Kite (Mamaji) doing or performing such a ritual. In the house of Marbom Angu, the father of Bomken and Bomkar Angu at Sago village. The Mithuns separately sacrificed without any chanting or ritual are for Christian believers villager,who helped in managing Togu preparation.

Killing mithun at large is not encouraged. So brutal. Should be minimised these days.
