I finished Tales of Hearts R for the first time this week and wanted to give a solo run a try! I played Kohaku for most of the main story in my original playthrough so I saw it best to start with her!

-No Battle Menu (No Item usage or equipment swapping midfight)

I never noticed how brutal the sound design sounds on some of Kobaku's hits. Loved the weaving of Ray into combos. It's a great start to the run!

being able to use spells during chase link is nutty as hell, i hope i can utilize some of the other spells in later fights too. Thanks for watching Fury!

You played Hunter's Chance... My, "Heart" is yours. Pun aside, I love Hearts R's combat a lot. Kohaku is a character I've grown to vibe with as I've labbed this game in the past. Peridot gotta be my fav fight here. The Guard Counter can be tight, plus I enjoy the Chase Link fun stuff, haha! Good job!

When do we get a Spear Soma user to represent Freya? Peridot was probably the fight I was most excited about people seeing LOL So I'm glad you liked it! Chase Link is the most fun mechanic I think a Tales game has had to be entirely honest.

Kohaku is very fun, too bad the game just refuses to let you use her for a large portion of it. I tried my best to main her on my first play through but Hearts R was like: "but wouldn't it be cool if she wasn't in your part for the first half of this dungeon?". anyways Nice run, man!
