I have a pair of these I talk to and they respond! I love them and talk to them every night 😄 They are wild .

Sharon here: Just this past summer, we heard owls in the field behind us for the first time in over 43 years. They left, after a time. Recently, we heard one had returned. I call to him from the window, and he replies. It's thrilling when he does that!

Do the owls ever try and take off from you at times if they did do they fly back to you?

I kept them completely free and as they were getting older they were disappearing for mote extended time periods until they completely blended into the wild life
