These K (kei-jidōsha) vehicles are designed to meet strict Japanese regulations in length, width and height as well as an engine displacement of under 660cc and a maximum of 64ps horse power. Their owners then benefit from lower taxes and insurance rates as well as being exempt from having to own a parking space.

This concept has an exterior roll cage and tube type doors. Inside are off-road racing bucket seats and full racing harness, to keep the occupants secure. The Mountain Trail Concept is topped off with a custom roof rack to carry extra gear.

The white and red K-trucks are designed to look like a second generation Ford Econoline truck. Called Bug-tucks in Japan, they are mobile relaxation spaces either with (Red Truck) or without a Sauna. A Sauna of no address, as it says on the brochure. They both use the Daihatsu Hijet Truck as the base vehicle.
