I ordered a Japanese PS2 and this game came packed with it for some reason

17:56 show the amount of thought and effort put into this game. 1999 and you can see the cars actively trying to navigating traffic, making decisions and trying to get to their destination as fast as possible without crashing. The little blue hatch even has proper weight transfer animations! That's something, especially for the era Edit Ok, it does sometimes make mistakes. (like one at 20:20) Wish they have added actual collisions, but I guess they were not planned and they were afraid it would block traffic...

This is what is lacking on this current gen, wacky japanese games with tons of creativity. This game is one of my favorites from the PS2 era even though it's really just a "Bus Simulator" in a way.

Its more or less like a driveing school sim for Busses in Tokyo because you pay for every little mistake you do.

Hi! I am looking for a similar looking game. It did not have buses, but motor bikes, I think scooters. The setting was the same, except that it had no turns. It was like the Traffic Rider game, exactly like that. Please help! I am desperate. I cannot remember its name.

It's actually an Arcade game from 1999 running on Sega’s NAOMI hardware. The Dreamcast version is closer to the quality of the arcade version, since the Dreamcast uses similar/the same hardware. The PS2 always struggled with ports of NAOMI games (like Ferrari F355 Challenge for example), having to make compromises. Still even for 1999 it;s not the best looking game around, but it’s made for quite a niche audience, and was never intended to be played outside of Japan
