7月25日に放送された特別企画【東京コレクション〜過去と未来を紡ぐもの〜】を特別に大公開します！新型コロナウイルスの広がりを受け3月の「東京コレクション」は中止。そこで今一度「東京コレクション」を問う特別番組。
ファッション・システムの変化が求められているこの現在のモード界において、「東京コレクション」は一体どういう存在なのか。
ファッション業界人の東京コレクションに関するアンケートの回答を元に企画を構成。東コレの誕生や伝説的なショーなど、「ファッション通信」のアーカイブと様々な声を織り交ぜながら、東京ファッション・クリエーションの未来を考える。
Based on a survey made between people in Tokyo fashion industry today, this special episode briefly explores Tokyo Collection history focusing on the "golden age" of the 90s〜00s.
"6.1 THE MEN" show by Comme des Garçons Kawakubo Rei and Yohji Yamamoto, the "Fashion revolution" that made Tokyo streets known to the world - Undercover, 20471120, Arakawa Shinichiro, Beauty:Beast etc... -
These are only a few examples of how a different history and approach to fashion can create a new legend, a new fashion culture.
