The cost of the 4 day stay at Miracosta for me was more than the return flights from Australia. It was around $6000 ish for 4 nights in a room that looked out into the outdoor pool area on the ground floor. The price was steep but worth it and loved the hotel and was a must do for the first visit the those parks. On the return visit 4 weeks later to the parks prior to leaving Japan, i stayed at Disney Hotel and that was about $1400 for 3 nights in the Alice themed room. Both hotels were good and as a tourist being on site out ways the cost and having to travel to and from the parks in the crowds each day and can return to the hotels for a quick rest and if it rains and you need to change socks :). Also the ability for that 15 mins entry is also a plus. We did every single ride more than once during the two stays and become fast pass gods and never waited more than 20 mins for any ride. Looking forward to going back.

Great to hear your experience! Yes it is very, very pricey (also the most expensive part of my whole trip!) but I would probably do it again! I’m super curious to see how the new disneysea hotel turns out. I’d love to see a mid-priced option too. There’s that new Toy Story hotel which looks like it’ll be a value resort so would like to see something in the middle.

Great video. Im visiting the japan dismey parks later this year amd was thinking of doing what you suggested, one night at one hotrl and another at the other. I was intending to stay one at disneyland hotel and one at mira costa, but this video has given me something to think about.

can you make a video about tips on booking a stay at the tokyo disneyland hotel? online it always shows it completely booked and i want to make sure i reserve on time before that happens! i hear calling is better but what time (japan time) would be best to reserve?
