This looks to be The Edo Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum in Koganei Park, Tokyo I think. It’s a collection of building saved from demolition, moved and rebuilt. I’ve been many times and it’s fascinating. It’s a bit out of the way from central Tokyo but well worth a visit, I never tire of it.

I was thinking more of the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 that levelled the city. If this is a preserved section of Tokyo, I haven't heard of it, and I'd very much like to see it. Errr theres a bit more to it than that. I recommend reading about Japans actions in Asia, particularly Manchuria, before WW2 and what Japan was doing to the citizens of the nations it invaded. Not to forget their biggest misjudgment, which was attacking the American fleet first at Pearl Harbour. The Japanese people were largely peaceful but their leadership was becoming a fanatical death cult that saw even it’s own citizens as largely disposable, to put it bluntly. *That does not mean I agree with the use of nuclear weapons on them though.

LOL, bro. Please. The world is not a fairy tale. Japan is the most beautiful country on earth, I've been there 19 times, one time I stayed for 4 years. It is totally unique and special. But don't for one second think that they weren't executing an imperial takeover of East and Southeast Asia. Thousands upon thousands of killings, rapes, and enslavement. The bombs had to be dropped. Even I who love Japan with all my heart am not a glassy eyed fool.
