Amazing work. I'm looking to upgrade from my x-t3 and i mostly do outdoor video work. Do you have a good recommendation that is an alternative to the x-h2 but not as pricey? Do they other camera even come close to this quality?

Look at a used X-T4! They added image stabilization to that one which is so helpful when shooting video

Exceptional another banger once again, I thought you were gonna return it cause of the sharpness, how are you finding it now? Have you figured a work around it or you still iffy about it?

thank you! The sharpness is something I don't like but it's not a deal breaker for me. I'm sure there is a workaround but for now I'm just rolling with it - the bigger issue has been when I have to match X-H2S footage with my FX6 or 6K Pro. Not a huge deal for the level of stuff I'm doing though

@@grahmdoughty what have you found is difficult to match other than the sharpness. Some people say the fx3/6 sensor is another league and some people say xh2s sensor has a better image/colours. Hella confusing 😂, what have been your findings, gonna trust your findings a lot more since your quality of work is probably the best I’ve seen with this camera besides serr, plus you’ve worked with the fx6.

@@girishkhakurel2673 not OP but I've shot extensively on fx6 and the sensor certainly isn't in another league. If anything, I prefer the fuji sensor unless you're doing a A LOT of low light. And Sony colours out of the box aren't good so it's a harder grade (though everything you need is there). It's a better camera though (fx6 not fx3) because it's a proper cinema camera - internal NDs, batteries, timecode, connections etc... better shooting experience.

@@althenimble yeah. I feel the main thing is despite colours, the Sony image tends to have a more 3d and organic rendering. It doesn’t look anywhere near as 3d as the black magics, reds, or alexas but it looks a bit closer to a commercial sort of look. Fuji image despite beautiful colours I find to just be lacking in terms of how the sensor processes space. Despite 14 bit and 14 stops of dr, it has sub par colour gradation, and an alright but not “cinematic” highlight roll off and shadow roll off. Nonetheless, I have to pretty much agree with you. Sony fx6 colours aren’t great. The Venice colours are sensational, so it shows Sony can do better, and in that aspect they are being lazy (I mean they have 3 cameras with the same sensor, marketed as different cameras in the span of 3 years). The highlight roll off on the fx6 is also not great, as well as the noise.

@@girishkhakurel2673 Interesting observation. But like I said, we're talking "out of the box"... reality is in the hands of a pro colorist in most situations (especially where you have control over the light) any of these cameras will look 99% the same when paired with the same glass. Apart from Arri sometimes *maybe*... could just be superstition/placebo but I'll shoot Arri whenever budget allows. All good tools though!
