So, Tokyo seems to have a donut boom in Shibuya & Omotesando. It’s a dangerous carbo-load so I’ll do it for you just today #tokyo #sweets

It's amazing how many radically different things you can create with just flour, sugar, butter and eggs.

They’re all over Tokyo too - not bad, they’re a bit buttery 😂 but certainly good. I think making chains everyone has taken away the appeal lately. No more lines. Papa Beard shucreams had this issue when they got so popular new stuff came and knocked them out because they expanded too much.

My husband and I are always on the lookout for good donuts whenever we travel. We found good town donuts/little bakery on our first trip and we love it. I always get the smile donut which is mango flavored. This last trip we took we reluctantly waited in line for I’m donut and I am so glad we did! They are unlike any other donut we have tried - and we have tried many! I would highly suggest waiting in line to try some. And make sure to get a few different flavors since they sell out very quickly. 😄❤️

I think time of day is important and I came too late. Or come later in the day - or weekdays. Weekends are madness! I’ll have to follow this up, some were disappointed I didn’t try more 😂

Donut shops are popular in the US. Every town has thier popular spot. I can name five different shops just off the top of my head between KCMO and Springfield, MO. Bet St. Louis and Columbia all their spots too. I've put two of the spots on my travel plans when I visit. Gotta do it all.

It’s fine, there’s a takoyaki stand 30 meters down the road. It’s WALKING & EATING that’s discouraged but in 2024, I see Japanese doing it all the time. The reason is that it makes a mess - clean up after yourself 😉

It is - odd - since this will be what kills them 😂 but they’re pretty. At least the place with the short line I got with bacon. The other one, is like waiting at Disney for a donut that’s at 11 other stores within 300 meters 🤷🏻
@huss1205Ай бұрын
@@onlyinjapanGO@onlyinjapanGO in your case, I understand it, it's your job to review things and show around, but for others to wait under the sun to eat something that will get them even warmer due to fat and sugar content is just silly. Next time show some good icecream spots, delicious ones...
