Hotel Information:

Hotel Zen is a unique capsule hotel that tries to give you an experience beyond the typical capsule experience. You can stand in all the rooms and some of the larger choices are more like a typical hotel room. The facilities are quite impressive and the food at the restaurant was incredible.
Thanks for Hotel Zen for inviting me to stay. I was not paid to say anything other than to express my own personal opinions of my experience.

@@hozuki7060 Well I am a woman and I'm also a travel agent and yeah no clients of mine would ever sleep in a capsule hotel, none that are female anyway. I can also see it as a place creepers might hang out looking for their next victim should they be inclined. Since I am a woman and can not physically overpower a man I have to think that way. Yes, 99% of travelers are just looking for a nice, cheap place to sleep for the night, but what about the 1% with nefarious plans, thieves, rapists, criminals? It's naive to not think about them in my opinion. I just thought it was incredibly naive of you to dismiss Andrea's concerns when as a woman it's a very real and intelligent precaution to be aware of.

I think I prefer your method of a touring review. We get to see the establishment from a first-person view, plus take in the sounds from your immediate surroundings. The captions you provide are informative without being distracting. i loved the hanging art in the hotel. The one above your mattress would have prompted me to ask who the artist was. I'm glad to see capsule hotels providing more luxurious touches: thicker mattresses, soft lighting, options for larger capsules, additional storage/optional safe. I never get sick of watching capsule hotel tours. I find your videos relaxing and entertaining. Can't wait for more.

Note that there is no door between each capsule and only a really thin wood is between you and others. you can basically hear everything next to you, coughing, talking, snoring and even sounds of phones. But If you don’t mind sound and can sleep well in any case of course this would be a good place.

This was an amazing ASMR experience. I would love to visit Japan! They have mastered the art of “next-level” for so many things…even the mundane ones people often take for granted. I’m claustrophobic, but I love tiny things and hidey-holes. 😝
