Warm greetings from Tokyo!🗼✨ I'm going to spend 6 awesome days here exploring the best attractions and some hidden gems.🩵 We landed safely at Narita Airport and took the Narita Express train to Shinjuku Station just within 90 minutes.🚄
After navigating one of the busiest train stations, we headed straight to our capsule hotel to drop off our luggage.🧳☺️ After the quick visit to the hotel, we wandered along the streets of Shinjuku. We were so hungry, but luckily we found a cozy ramen place where we ate some of the best ramen ever!🍜😋
We visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to gaze at the beautiful city from a sky-high viewpoint during the day.🏙️ We also visited the Andaz Tokyo rooftop bar for a night view of Tokyo.🍹🌃 I suggest seeing the city both during the day and at night since it becomes more alive at night.🪩🥳
A highlight of our trip was the teamLab Borderless exhibit, where we immersed ourselves in beautiful and modern art pieces.🎨🖼️ We suggest booking tickets very early in advance because they sell out quickly.🫣 We also visited many shrines, temples, and parks to escape the busy traffic. Smaller neighborhoods or parts of the city like Taito, Asakusa, Odaiba, and Ginza were also nice for escaping the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku and Shibuya.🌳🌷⛩️
For traveling around Tokyo, we mostly walked since the distances weren’t that long, but we sometimes relied on the efficient metro system.😄 With a Suica card or single tickets, you can access the metro and travel effectively between different parts of the city.💳
Japanese food is so tasty! We tried some omurice, Kobe beef, and desserts.🥰🥩🧁Convenience store food was a lifesaver for a quick snack since the prices are very affordable.💰💱
