Nice! Gifu is one of my favorite prefectures too! My Japanese friend invited me to stay with her family for a week, she is from Gifu-shi! And we made fake food too!

Japan is a beautiful country. I've been there twice but just stayed in the city. I wish I can go again to explore all the cities that you mentioned on the videos.

You should've climbed the enormous hill at Shirakawa-go! It's intense, but there were some AMAZING views; the houses looked liked a miniature village and there were mountains as far as the eye could see. My favorite spot in the world.

I love your videos! Gifu was my favorite part of Japan as a teenager. I hope to visit Japan again with my family in 2021!

I'm so happy I stumbled across this! My home town has a sister town within the Gifu Prefecture and back in High School in our Japanese studies class we once got to write letters to students in Japanese and they would send letters back in English for practice as well. They sent us senbei along with the letters and I couldn't for the life of my remember what they were called. Now I know! :D I do remember them being quite tasty as well. 😆
