Black Ferns outside back Renee Holmes has represented Aotearoa in four different sports, and it wasn't until she was told she couldn't play in the boys football league as a teenager, that she took up rugby.

She is an awesome player with excellent skills, mainly she can kick goals. Now we knew where she got her kicking skills from. She also came into the backline and cleverly set up that try for number 13 at the World Cup final, blocking the would be tackler to her right with her body angle. Well done family especially dad.
