In this positive dog training video, I will be teaching Natsu how to heel using positive reinforcement training. I mark the heel behavior with a YES, but you can use the clicker. Teaching a dog to heel can be easy when you start indoors without any distractions. I like to start teaching a dog to heel off-leash, but indoors. You may be wondering at what age to teach a dog to heel. As long as you are training with positive techniques, no choke or e-collar, then as soon as you bring your new puppy home. You can also teach an older dog to heel with these positive training methods.
