I decided long time ago to make a new version of this and here it is finally! Hope you like it!

It should be noted that this song is used for the final level in the L4D2 mod, Crash Bandicoot: The Return of Dr. Cortex. It owns pretty hard.

You know what would be awesome? At the end of a 100% run of Crash Warped, we see Cortex, Tropy and Uka Uka trapped in the time continuum. JUST IMAGINE if, for the remake, they put a hidden final boss at the trilogy where you fight them in the time continuum...AND THIS PLAYS!!

This is exactly how I'd picture Neo Cortex's "theme" to be. Fits perfectly with his personality and trying to take over the world. Probably the best villain with the best music in any game I've played in my life.

Mowing through hordes of zombies with a chainsaw and pumped up on adrenaline while listening to this created one of the greatest feelings of pure fucking awesomeness I've ever experienced in a game before. Great job! (Referring to L4D2 campaign of course ;P)

Probably tied with eggman from sonic in my opinion. I think eggman and cortex could do some serious damage as a team. Sonic and crash could stop them. For a stupid bandicoot he is definitely a motherfucking badass. Glad to see this getting remastered, I am gonna play these till my brain melts.

I remember 9 years ago I was sitting at my computer before my GCSE maths exam (exam for 15-16 year olds in the UK) listening to this to pass the time. Nine years later, I now live on the other side of the world and I came back to this. Great music!

I imagine this to play in new remasters, as somebody said: Cortex finally goes completely apeshit insane, grows in size and crashes everything in his sight just trying to get Crash. Maybe there could also be a running/escaping sequence like in crash2 and 3? And in the end just a plain combat - I seriously would've loved to see final fight with Cortex in darksouls' level of difficulty. That would've been amazing.

Came here after playing the map, so awesome! Perfect background music for a wonderful campaign. This theme definitely sealed the finale, without it the ending would not be half as enjoyable

My favorite villain of all time. Before him, I considered Dr Robotnick a.k.a Eggman. However, Cortex is the responsible for the whole Crash series. Since then, he became the greatest character in the franchise. May someday come his victory over Crash.

What would be super dope is if naughty dog and toys for Bob did a collaboration for a new crash game and instead of cortex being the last boss have robo cortex being thr final boss and have the game similar in the fashion of twinsanity and crash 4 where cortex works with crash and coco

As stated by many, this song was used in the finale of the L4D2 custom campaign "Crash Bandicoot: The Return of Dr. Cortex". This a perfect ending track to a very fun and entertaining campaign. This track makes the finale absolutely insanely fucking epic. I can't help but recommend anyone who has the game on PC to play it! A very much epic remix that is, I hope many more come along!

Even that first "dun…. dun dun, dun dun dun…." from the first Cortex theme was great. It felt really cathartic at that moment to finally fight Cortex after such a long journey. Each of the three themes really helps that feeling. 2's final theme was cool because it felt like Crash was mad at Cortex lying to him and was just as pumped as the music. And 3 was my first Crash game, and I loved how epic that game felt. Yeah there still wasn't that much of a story, but it felt like there were higher stakes with Uka Uka threatening the entire universe. The final battle really felt like a final battle.
