actually দীপ্তদা the name was given in 18th century.. এটাকে deviled egg বলে কারণ, devill word তা use করা হয় very hot , and spicy বোঝানোর জন্যে। bcz..গোড়াদের কাছে this egg dish is soo hot and spicy, that is feels like the food for devil
