I caught up with UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion, Tom Aspinall hours after his first face to face meeting with Jon Jones, he gave me his reaction to the encounter, thoughts on their back and forth on X earlier this year, possible Blaydes rematch this summer, the Pereira fight that was rumoured & more!

It’s happened multiple times and that’s how fighting works. If you beat the current champion, you’re the new champion. It’s really that simple. Jon Jones got a fast track to fighting the champ because he has a long established history of 20+ fights with the UFC and being the reigning champion in another division already.

You serious? You must be a casual 😂... Tom is the INTERIM champion... the ufc LITERALLY owes him an immediate fight with the UNDISPUTED champion. If jones doesn't want to fight Tom aspinall and wants to fight old fire-fighter stipe, then jones can vacate the belt because he is VERY clearly holding up the heavyweight division just like he did with light heavyweight.

And Anderson Silva lost more than 5 times, and fedor emelianenko lost more than 5 times. Tom lost to someone by using an accidental illegal elbow when he was dominating the entire time, if you take that into consideration than jones also has 1 loss to Matt hamill 😂 a nobody 😂... Tom also lost to Curtis blaydes because he had previously injured his knee badly, Tom also lost to Stuart Austin by arm lock 10 years ago when he was basically a kid.
