Tom Brady Didn’t Like How The Netflix Roast Affected His Kids

Күн бұрынTom Brady won’t be getting roasted any time soon. The former NFL quarterback recently admitted on “The Pivot Podcast” that he has some regrets about his Netflix special, “The Roast of Tom Brady,” specifically the jokes made about his family. “I loved when the jokes were about me, I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way that it affected my kids,” he said. The seven-time Super Bowl Champ didn’t elaborate on which jokes impacted his kids, but he did admit one good thing came from the roast. “It makes you in some ways a better parent going through it because sometimes you’re naïve, or you don’t know, or you get a little like ‘Oh s**t,’ you know and like I said I love when people are making fun of me,” he added. Tom has three kids-Benjamin and Vivian whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and Jack whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. During the Netflix special, several comedians including Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser, and Jeff Ross talked about his divorce from Gisele and touched on her new relationship.

Roasts are usually no holding back. Nothing is safe. Believe it or not the comics were nice and left a lot things out of the arsenal. I guarantee there was something in the contract that prevented comics from taking those shots.

Brady is trying way too hard to play victim and using his kids to do it. So this 40 something GOAT NFL QB’s has never watched one of these vulgar roasts in his life? Not one time late at night in his luxury suite on the road did he put his playbook down and stop surfing at one of the thousands of profanity laced celebrity roasts that have been on cable TV for decades now? My favorite part of his woke BS comments were that after getting roasted it now makes him a “better father”. Allegedly now he will never subject his poor children to another roast of himself. 😂😂😂. Oh but wait….he loved the rancid humor they directed at him. 😂😂😂. Just never imagined how it might effect his kids. He should have just stuck with playing football until he was 50. Obviously he still has no control over his shallow insecure ego.

She could have spun a different story once the kids found out from others. Parents control the narrative, not the outside world. Giselle is not American so she was naive to the fact of what a roast really is.

Tamest roast I've ever seen. The ones with Lisa Lampenelli, Jeselnik, Giraldo were so much worse. I remember Whitney and Jeselnik saying they caught Lampenelli hysterically crying after because of so many jokes made about her. You would have never have guessed because she was such a good sport.

Never,ever,ever,ever,in a gazillion yrs should he have said yes to being roasted. Especially for this type of comedy. He is not used to hearing anything remotely negative about himself even if it is supposed to be all in good humor. What was he thinking? I doubt he could even handle the roasts they had back in the day with Dean Martin, and those were pretty tame. And,he has young children. I'm not sure you can tell the people who are doing the roasting what can & can't be talked about. I thought I read somewhere that Kevin Hart said nothing will be off limits. Had Tom even bothered to watch one before agreeing to a 3 hr one in 2024? Oh,and,it also made me think of the time Michael set up his own roast on The Office 😂.
