I was just a silly teenaged surfer in Texas dreaming of stellar surf while watching you and Curren battle. Then in 92 I was kicking out after a nice left at HB pier and you were there paddling. You said "Nice one" and I was stunned into silence. I am so glad you came out on top in your life! Life is great!

Beautiful message! Tom's led and still leading 'a larger than life' life! So glad for him he came out the 'other side' from drugs-such a scourge! I remember Danny Wills and Tom coming into my cafe in Byron. I had the current No.1 and former No.1 surfers in my establishment at the same time. Stoked! May Tom continue doing great things! Respect!
