@@Jonnycrows Glad that you know that’s what it is! Most people are surprised when I tell them it’s a pedal steel. 🤘😜 Glad I got to see them play this live back in 1982!! Kenny Greer killed it that night.

Red Rider was my favorite band in the 80's. Ken Greer was a fantastic lead guitar player and added that trippy steel guitar in his solos. Band leader Tom Cochrane was a great songwriter and singer. Check out the albums "Neruda" and "Breaking Curfew" from 1983 and 1984 respectively. You won't be disappointed.

Wow- the live versions of this and white hot seem much better to me than the studio versions!
@joekrepps11 ай бұрын
I think it's the fact we actually SEE them performing it. The studio version and the "Official" video version is just Tom "playing" and the rest of the band standing around. (I'm assuming the "Official" video version is just lip-synch to the studio version.) NOW we see what it's like for the whole band to perform it. I'm sure they're a little more pumped knowing it's being recorded in front of a live audience. I'm normally not a fan of live performances - there are always compromises to accommodate the venue - but this is nicely done.

Nothing goes away...good music always comes back around. More relevant today than it was when originally recorded in the 80's. If this doesn't apply to the Q-tip heads who attached the Capitol and call themselves "The Storm," I don't know what does.... "In the twilight's last gleaming, it's open season...you gotta blame someone for your own confusion...we're on guard this time...can you feel the thunder?" Absolutely prophetic.
@johnwebb30123 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. It's about the rising of the anti-semitic, marxist globalists coming to run your life.
@maryomalley31903 жыл бұрын
If you want to go there, then pick up a history book... Marx himself was not only a Jew but he had a reputation for humanitarianism and tolerance. Not about Marxists. Could be about the Nazi's. But whether it's about the Q-tips or the Nazi's, all such groups "gotta blame someone for their own confusion." It applies to the haters of each generation.
