This is actually one of my favorite interviews that showcases how cool Tom Cruise is. He was fully ready to explore how she was fluent in so many languages because he was genuinely interested in her as a person. But then when she reminded him he had a job to do, he quickly apologized and carried on with the interview. Demonstrates respect on multiple levels there.

Top Gun, MIssion Impossible, The Firm, A Few Good Men, Knight and Day, Collateral, The Mummy, Days of Thunder, Risky Business, Jack Reacher the movies and box office hits are endless. Saying Tom Cruise is versatile would be the understatement of the decade. Tom Cruise is best playing characters where he is out of his comfort zone. Tom still does his own stunts and still manages to engage with his fans and co stars. Heres to the next 4 decades Tom. Good luck Ethan for your next Mission!!

You forgot all the movies where he truly demonstrated the range of his acting abilities: Born on the Fourth of July, Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, Vanilla Sky, Last Samurai, Tropic Thunder. A lot of people forget that he is not just a successful action star, he is genuinely a very good actor, who's proven it many times.

Toronna. Lived in Scarberia from '83-92.......and traffic is/was brutal. Commuted to work at Royal York/Dundas from Morningside/Sheppard every day across the 401 - and typically took me 1hr 20 mins each way in rush hour. And that was knowing how best to use the collectors and express lanes most effectively.

Wow - Tom has mellowed so much as he has gotten older - see him 20 years ago...he was on edge and very defensive. He has always been an intense and excellent actor. Just nice to see that he has mellowed out and is much more chill these days.

He will continue to make movies and he is currently making about one a year (10 in last 10 years) So for his own style of movies what type of movie is he going to be making at age 71, ten years from now? This will be an interesting evolution to follow as he begins to age out of difficult for the body stunts and into less physically demanding roles.
