@@Mahangelafy It's a private cash game, they have much more freedom than in tournaments or casino games. What they did here was called rabbit hunting (showing the outcome even though the hand is over).

It's because Dwan and JRB seems to always run it twice though. So if JRB called, they would have run it twice and split the pot.

Is the commentary live? Commentary with hindsight makes it less impressive, though I agree the commentary is good regardless.

That commentary makes no sense, AT JJ are not ever folding. Of course, Dwan play makes not much sense either. I don't think overbet shove in that type of board turn is really a thing. If I were Dwan's opponent, I would think that type of bet size is very weighted on that type of draw with high equity but don't get equity to call when those types of draws bet smaller and get jammed on. Value hands that might balance that type of shoves are strong but vulnerable, like AT, etc. Yeah, now you can see why commentary doesn't make any sense. In reality, I think Dwan is probably unbalanced on draws, and maybe he has read that his opponent is folding too much in those spots.

When he says "Nope, not gonna call, good bet" - It really sound like "Nope, I gotta call, good bet". Did anyone else notice this? It's like he learned how to speak in that way where things can sound different depending on who hears it(like that youtube vid going around 2 years back where something sounded different to various people, it was like Yani/Laurel or something?)

Life goes on and so do the cards, besides T.V poker is a tiny tiny fraction of the poker world at large. 99% of players never find out their opponents hands and don't really care either once the game is over.

The triad keeps putting Dwan on direct sunlight before these games to make it seem like he isn't jailed in a basement somewhere but it makes it worse as he turns red due to the lack of sun exposure.

@@lastfewtokes All high stakes games are rigged. Behind them all incl. the casinos, no matter where the location are; the freemason mafia gang. They are just actors, but use it as entertainment if you like. However, always remember; it's only a TV-show. And you can make what you want out of what TV is shortage for

@TrillVice The answers gives it self for those who only cares about facts and are not blurred by the show. To be rolled for playing high stakes is impossible unless you play as an actor, which they all are. Incl. the 'business men'. Exactly the same goes for sport. Do not matter which country you are in. At top level everything is arranged. I used to be a huge sports fan before I saw the lie They use numerology on everything as they are obsessed by it. What is interesting however is that they do not even have the calendar correct, so all their numerology is wrong. You got to laugh. A year has 360 days, not 365.25

Actually it would have been chopped because they most likely would have ran it twice. Therefore if he called, he would have saved the money he put in the pot and chopped. That is going to tilt him when he watches it back lol

If he got there once on a 4 or 2, he's essentially repping a straight, unless he had pocket 2's or 4's, or maybe two pair. Dwan is so good. Totally solved all the spots that his opponents cant have nutted hands and relentlessly attacks. If you watch this season of HSP he almost always folds at the exact right times and makes moves at the exact right times. I dont remember a time he gets stacked.

wish the new season and episodes had better tables, need some better and more recognizable pros and amateurs alike.. But solomon JRB and Dwan is at least enough to make this worth watching.
