When we went to Disney in the 80s when I was a kid I remember wanting to keep the Mickey shaped butter pat at Liberty Tree. Told my parents it was too cute to eat. So I totally get wanting to keep that juice box! I haven’t been back since 2014, don’t know if I will ever get back, so I live vicariously through vids like these, thank you!

The desert in the little frying pan looks like a mini Dutch Baby. My Swedish/Norwegian Nana used to make them for Sunday breakfast. It is kind of like an Egg Soufflé pancake baked in a skillet. It raises very high & falls when it comes out of the oven. I was always in trouble for running thru the kitchen & making it fall before it was ready🤪 She served it with lemons to squeeze & powdered sugar. So yummy. Those are so cute! Now I need to go buy mini fry pans to make those!🥰👍🏻

Yorkshire Pudding? (the bread?) I think Americans call it a "popover? " (sorry if you name it further in the video I just paused it to name what I think it is . But in England they have Yorkshire pudding next to their Sunday Roast and generally pour gravy over the Yorkshire pudding). OH :) You did name it! :)

The lemon and strawberry dessert in the pan looks a lot like a mini version of what we call a “Dutch Baby”, a Scandinavian baked pancake thing. It’s often served with lemon and powdered sugar.

I just had some of my Japanese friends come visit Utah and one of them requested a proper American burger multiple times. I definitely had a very similar experience with the burgers in Japan as you have. They’re a bit better outside of Tokyo Disney, but yeah.

I have never had that jelly for the kids' meal at T.D.R., but I dont think it's gross or bad at all judging by the look of it 🤔 It looks like a typical Japanese jelly product you can find at grocery stores here, and they are usually delicious. I lived in L.A. for six years and came across a lot of nasty-tasting jellies that were just culturally different from the Japanese ones I grew up eating. As for the burgers, I dont think they are THAT bad either; they are just culturally different, Tom. Thoes are Japanese-style burgers. If you want better Japnese-style burgers, try Mos Burger and Freshness Burger instead of McDonald's Japan.

Thank you for eating the roast beef popcorn so I don't have to! Researching these parks, I've already come to the conclusion you said: That the parks are way better for snacks than meals. I'd say the set meals are the worst, always something going on in one of them that I want no part of. Speaking of snacks, I find it weird that the meat in the Yoo-Hoo Bread is unnamed. That's definitely lingonberry in there, which is the Swedish accompaniment to their meatballs. So my guess for the mystery meat would be beef, but I have a feeling it's a combo of beef and pork or chicken, whichever is cheaper.

Limited options for vegetarians but I’d take my chances on that fish set at arendelle if I can’t figure out the curry! The vege burger and fries doesn’t seem terrible if I’m starving lol Hoping to go soon. Thanks for the videos

I spent two summers in Japan in the 80’s i didn’t experience as much humidity as I have in the 4 trips too Florida 🤔the Philippines was the worst humidity I experienced.

@@WDWNTbut, as locals, we know where and what to eat. hence the long lines at some locations. Eg I would never buy a burger at TDR, but the Japanese at Hokusai, or curry (anywhere really), or ramen are always pretty good.
