Hey guys! Since posting this video, some lovely people have brought to my attention that Tom liked (some of?) JK Rowling's transphobic tweets and then unliked them once he was called out. As of now he has still not addressed this issue which to me is extremely disheartening and disappointing. If Tom considers himself a LGBTQ+ ally then he MUST do better because in my opinion, not addressing it at all sends a terrible message. I would never want to accidentally celebrate a potentially transphobic person on this channel so I just wanted to apologize for not knowing sooner. Sending all of my love and support to the trans community now and always ❤️

Even if it wasn't accidental, it doesn't make him transphobic. Most the stuff JK has been attacked for isn't transphobic either. (Some of it I think crossed the line, but people see only black and white these days.) Guilty by association combined with cancel culture is what is toxic imo.

@@MariaT-95 Nah, she is transphobic. Supporting a business that sells transphobic things means you are transphobic. Spreading false information ON PURPOSE (for example, the detransition rates are false) is EXTREMELY transphobic. Cancel Culture is toxic, but holding people accountable is different.
