And still some people ( and reviewers) say that has not been reformulated. Ha! For me , when a reviewer says this , he loses all his credibility. It’s IMPOSSIBLE not to smell the difference .

As long as you don’t live on a very high heat/humidity place. Then becomes cloying and annoying… such a pity as I love TF OL. My favourite . But man , definitely not for south east Asia . I think most of the perfumes reviews lack of this very important info . Like “what’s the best seductive perfume?” Or “the best perfume to work” etc . There’s NO “best perfume” . It’s always regarding the context and, very important, the weather . My friend loves Fahrenheit . Man , in a 35 degrees 90% humidity weather , it’s very annoying and makes your image decrease.

@@shadyevenings that’s true. Fahrenheit is my signature scent but as long as you adjust your sprays accordingly you should be alright. I work in a paper plant with 100 degree temperature year round and I’ve had no complaints. But who knows they might not approve.

I have both Ombré and Sauvage EDT. I definitely recommend the ombré over Sauvage, since Sauvage EDT for me doesn’t really stand out and stay as long. Although, Sauvage EDP stays longer and stands out where I get compliments

I got a sample of ombre leather and the dry down reminded me of something that got left in a hot car. It was a dusty over, ripe, and flat. Sauvage may be at the end of its fame, but it's clean and fresh.

I just went and bought an Invictus Platinum pack and my wife loves it, I had a tough choice between it and the Burberry Hero EDT set. I tend to go with what she liked and I also enjoy. I live both of those very much. However, while in the store we def loved the more rich and extravagant fragrances such as Tom Ford. I remember smelling Ombré leather a while back and couldn’t believe how good it was even on paper, before we left yesterday I sprayed my neck and shirt with the TF OL, and I could rock that every day, if only it was cheaper, my wife really likes it and it really is a masterpiece that’s not over powering. However I can justify the price because it’s a signature fragrance that really is unique and lasts! I smelled good for 6-7 hours straight. It truly settles in on the skin and is probably my favorite scent ever. So many more to discover though!

For me they don't compare for the simple fact that I use Ombre Leather exclusively for winter and Sauvage Edt only for hot summer. They are both bomb for me and I love the scents regardless what anyone says. Some people have negative reviews and thoughts for absurd reasons but for me both of these fragrances give me a huge boost and the people around me have liked them a lot.

@@BestBrandsPerfume I just found out about Bentley Intense for Men and it's got a lot of the same notes as Ombre except it's more boozy and has a better longevity. I haven't smelled it yet but considering how expensive this used to be when they they first released it and what you can buy it for now, it's more or less a blind buy. Do you think I should just keep the Bentley Intense Men and return TF Ombre?

I bought rare carbon to get what ombre leather smells like, and I don't like it at all, to me it smells like tea scum, I don't know how much it is similar to the OG, but after this video, I like to get a sample and try Ombre leather, but if someone like rare carbon, he would love Ferragamo oud, those are similar but Ferragamo is way mass appeal and sweeter, but I don't like either!!

I’m glad I seen your comment. I have both. LV nomade came with a sampler bottle just in case if I wanted to bring the big bottle back. LV smells similar to TF ombré leather or am I tripping?? Do u think it’s redundant having both or should I take LV back and exchange for something else??

@@raphael9197Funny because I do not consider ombre nomade to smell similar to ombre leather. At the time that I made this comment I assumed they had similarities not only because of their names but I assumed the LV was a leather powerhouse like TF. I was wrong. I do not consider it redundant.

@@Finn959 Wow what a throwback. Let me be clear that Ombre was my winter signature. Is it still? I wore Oud for Greatness the past two winters. I specifically wear ombre when wearing all black and/or with my black cowboy boots. So long as you're wearing black and it's cold out most women will be floored. Ombre is still in my top 5 overall frags. It's got a tough yet groomed soul. The women range from around 19 - mid 40s.

Well, you are correct, in that sense, whats the point of mentioning anything like longevity, but, to be honest, there are many who do not know the price of Creed Viking or Aventus is well over $400 or the Price of Tom Ford Fragrances are extremely high, for instance, my midwestern friend thinks $80 is super super expensive for a fragrance and when I tell him Creeds Costs $500 he was calling me a Liar.

Sauvage is fantastic but so overused that the fantastic quality to it has subdued , Tom Ford is fantastically smelling however since the little use it has a more profound effect. Tom Ford Ombré leather will get you more compliments

Sauvage obviously for kids compared to Ombre Leather which is a whole different genre In the cologne game. Leather scents in general are polarizing, so to do as well as it did is good.

That is really cool PJ. Sometimes I know what you mean by that. He knows exactly who is the end customer. Lets dive deeper into that, the end customer of Tom Ford Ombre Leather, or many of his other scents, would be a wealthy, well dressed person, who appreciates quality, maybe has experience with his clothing line? But for sure, the clothing line might not matter as much as the person who knows what fragrance quality is like and he really captures that in all his fragrances.

I've always been a cheap perfume guy, I got a Tom Ford sample through Facebook and was blown away. The next day was laundry day and going through the hamper the scent was still there! So I looked it up and saw $200 price and think it's worth it. One spray does it and the bottle may last a person a year depending on their social life.

Naaah....Sauvage still gets the ladies going. Maybe its a skin thing. One of the few fragrances that when I wear it I get the comment.."you smell sexy".

Im in the USA. Ebay has it. I ran into a customer where I work and politely ask what fragrance he had on. I had no idea what ombre leather smelled like until he told me. I keep my rasasi qasamat rasana in my back pack, so I let him test it out and he agreed. 99%-100% identical! Rasasi Qasamat Rasana is my most complimented fragrance! Everytime I wear it I get compliments, women follow me just to tell me how good it smells. This is a must have fragrance!!! But I haven't sprayed ombre leather so I wouldn't know the first initial spray on, but the dry downs are extremely identical.

Everyone's body chemistry is different. Dior smells good out of the bottle but I don't like the way it smells on me. TF suits me better and I get tons of compliments on it.

Andre, try Sauvage Very cool spray. You'll see that what you perceive as disgusting in EDT and EDP isn't there in Very cool spray. It's an awesome summer scent.

Sauvage is for guys that wear flip flops. Like for wannabe hype beast f-boys.There are more likable fragrances than Ombre Leather but it's better. Fragrance people love if. Actual girls are like ok. But yeah, compared to Savauge yeah, it will win.
