Watched Finch two days ago and I was moved. Watched A Man Named Otto yesterday and I thought wow, such a beautiful performance. Tom is truly one of a kind, love and respect from Syria ❤

Tom Hanks is my favorite actor. Gene Hackman is right up there too alongside of him. I am also proud of him being married for so many years. Especially being a part of the Hollywood scene.

luv this guy! Since i am a photographer, besides wanting to photograph him, I understand the crew thing. He seems so genuine. Would luv to know someone of this caliber. My 3 favorite Hanks movies are Castaway and the recent Finch and The Money Pit. Always a fan Tom.. if you read these things

I noticed something by the end of the video where they said that title of his book and Gayle tries to say a sentence from the book (I rewinded a few times), Tom Hanks' hand was kind of shaking and he held it tightly and turns his back around to somehow stop it from shaking further...his foot kind of slightly shakes uncontrollably too. I had a godmother, who dealt with Parkinson's Disease, and it reminded me of her movements. It made me worry. This reality that the 90s staples of our lives have grown old and are at a different stage of their life makes me reflect about the stage of my life too. *sigh* I wish him good health.

You are right, I watched the video a few times and I saw the same thing. He uses his right hand to control his left hand. I used to take medication that made my hands shake so maybe it could be that or it could be Parkinson but I do wish him the best since he is one of my all time favorite actors.

It might be related to his diabetes. That’s a pretty common symptom if his blood sugar is off. Diabetes has had a pretty drastic effect on his life.

Excellent. Do a live follow up with a sample of readers. Never heard about someone who did not like Tom Hanks, however, please focus on his kids. Did they survive an off camera life. Also, how about your kids, Gail, have they survived an on / off camera life? Love to a real human, Tom, and a super human, Gail. Please travel with a few stars and feature their ups and off camera flaws. One more thing, Oprah turns or did turn 70 recently, any major changes in the realm of celebrations? Do I have to have cable to follow Gail, Tony, or Oprah? Sorry, one more thing. How many decades old is CBS? How much longer may we count on the titans of CBS to continue? Seriously.

"debut novel'? He had a novel previously called Uncommon Type.

Uncommon Type was a collection of short stories, whereas this is a feature length novel.

@@nawaazr5388 but that collection is still considered a novel because the number of pages is the same as a full length novel. In bookstores, short story collections doesn't have a shelf labeled "collections". They were also put together with full length novels but only categorized by genres.

It was pretty obvious what they did with the rest of their lives at the end of the movie. Helen stayed married and probably had more kids and Tom moved on to the woman he delivered the fed ex package to. The end.
