Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

When you watch enough of Tom Hiddleston's interviews you realize he's on a mission to charm every interviewer and make them all fall in love with him. I'm convinced he does it on purpose.

This is just glorious. Stephen did a good job of luring Tom into singing by singing with him instead of just making Tom sing on his own. That might have made Tom feel really exposed.

+Bobbybobob not really I mean the guests have a general idea of the topics they will be talking about but the host can go in whatever direction he wants. U could tell that Tom wasn't gonna sing but when Stephen started and the audience urged him on he bent to pressure lol

I think Stephen knew that Tom would be nervous. We all know it was rehearsed, but it probably helped Tom if Stephen told him to keep his eyes on him to combat his nervousness.. As you can see, it didn't take Tom long to get into it.

If you can sing even a little, it's one of those things that, while you may not feel comfortable doing it at first, once you get rolling it just takes over and makes you really, really glad you did. And when there's good accompaniment and an audience to share in the fun, the joy increases. That's why so many singers stay with it for so long- it really is like a drug.

I saw this movie and I dont understand why it didnt get more criticial acclaim. Tom plays the part very well and shows he is very versatile. Watch if you get the chance.

Probably due to Tom not sounding like Hank Sr. He did a good job singing but still doesn't sound like him, Williams' grandson Hank III actually looks and sounds like'm.

I only just learned about the movie. I don't think it was widely promoted. I enjoyed it. Tom's performance was great, and it was crazy how much he looked like Hank. I felt like his performance could have been even better had more time been spent on the film.

I always wondered when watching this, if Tom's reluctance was just a ploy. He's such a great actor, it's hard to tell. He did a magnificent job in that film, even if the film itself was underrated. Colbert is such a great guy and you can tell that he and Tom really bonded. Hope Tom comes back on Colbert when promoting Skull Island.

I didn't know a whole lot about Hank Williams before I saw this. It's a shame someone who composed such a beautiful song passed away so young and probably unhappy. Rest in peace. Thanks LNSC for this, simply glorious.

I thought this was really cool. Stephen let some of his South Carolinian roots show. I grew up in Indiana, but if you don't think that Hank Williams music was huge in my parent's household then you don't know diddly. I was not a Country music fan when I was a kid, but Hank was always an exception and loved and now I appreciate all the great music that my folks introduced me to in my youth.
