He's a player/coach for the U21. It's good for young players to have a senior pros with them on the pitch to guide and help them. Paul McShane has done the job before Tom Huddlestone. Surely there'll be someone else after him too.

I don't believe so but 3 players over 21 is eligible to play. U21 is like a mid life crisis or standing at metaphorical cross road and wondering what to do next
