Looking at how he sang this for his wife. It would have been my 47th anniversary on 4th June so this is a sad song for me , but says a lot of how I supported her during her last 6 months with Vascular Dementia. RIP my love.

Hello amazing fan. It has come to my notice that some of my fans thinks I was the person who died. Late jones was The one who conceived the twist on Romeo and Juliet with composer John Donald Robb. He died 11th August, of cancer in his home in Sharon. I’m still alive and much healthy. Thanks dear fan.

100 %correct, if I listen to other artists, even younger than Tom they don't come close to Tom. All respect to Engelbert Humperdict but if He listern to Tom it might convince him to stop because my humbled opinion after I listern to Engelbert, concerts of three weeks ago, and his movements I would realy throw in the towel. The difference with any song that you hear is the story that the singer is conveying behind the tune and the words. It may be a story they are telling, and it may be a story in your life that resonates with the words you hear, and when the two meet, you hear the emotion and anguish that they (and you ?) had to deal with. I'd be more than happy to have this as my funeral song, in the hopes my wife will not crumble.

Dear Sir Mr.Tom Jones; A song that translates my feelings. I lost my mother. Now I lost my childhood friend of 50 years to Pancreatic Cancer. It's been exactly 15 days. I am literally in a void. I don't know what to do. However, I know very well that; "God does not want to upset the good people in the world. He takes them with him to the Garden of Eden." I believe this with all my heart. We will miss our lost values very much, I know. They ran to eternity on the path of God. May God forgive your sins. May they rest in heaven and may angels be their companions. i felt this song without ever hearing it, in 1995, as i held the hand of my very first love, as she told me she was terminal, and i knew my heart was going with her when she passed. 25 is far too young to be called away... but i was there... i did the deed my heart demanded....
