Years ago, I was in a restaurant in Acapulco with my girlfriends. Tom Jones was at another table behind me. I literally almost fell out my chair straining to look at him. He was absolutely gorgeous and had a body like a brick house. What a man!

Anyhow, he is commonly called "Jones the Voice" because in his native Wales the name Jones is ridiculously common so different Jones families would refer to each other as Jones the 'insert job title here' e.g. Jones the Baker or Jones the Builder. The real irony is this is that Jones isn't Tom Jones' real surname... It's Woodward.... 🤣

Hey girl don't get overwhelmed. The song videos were all kind of hilarious in a entertaining way. When one thinks of the great singer songwriters/bands in that time. Then there cher with out Sony, relived by tom. Love your reaction India. It was more authentic than the Vegas music for the blue haired.

I was a little kid in the 60's, everytime Tom Jones would come on TV my Dad would get SUPER jealous. My mom and all her friends loved Tom Jones, "She's A Lady" is my favorite from him. Your reaction was so real, love you, great video, 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ !

If you've never listened to Cher (or Sonny and Cher) oh girl you definitely need to. For the duo, listen to I Got You Babe (perhaps their most iconic song), for Cher herself, Gypsie's Tramps and Thieves (from 1971), or Believe (from 1998). Sonny passed back in the 90's but Cher is still in the industry

I remember as a little girl in the 70’s, always running to the TV when I heard his voice- (my stepmom made fun of me for it 😏) Anyway, in my young mind I wasn’t quite sure what is was.. lol or maybe I did?..🤷🏼♀️ 😆. I just know I was fascinated with him at that very young age of 10-11 or so.. for WHATEVER reason- 😂😬

Same thing with samantha fox. For some reason I ran to the TV when she sang, and bought a biographybook about her when I was 10 years old. Bit donald duck biography, mostly pictures, but a darn good book. The book I read the most.

I think it's fair to say that "The Beat Goes On" refers to the fact that all these different things just keep on happening and nothing old is necessarily gone and nothing new is necessarily held back.

This Black woman has LOVED Tom Jones since I was 10 yrs old. I use to beg my parents to let me stay up to watch his TV show back then but they wouldn't because I had school the next day .Guess what?? i pretended to go to sleep and when his show came on I would watch it on my little black and white TV with the volume turned down anyway. I risked a spanking and/or punishment( it wasn't child abuse back then) for defying my parents for Tom Jones LOL.I saw him around 2005ish at Harlem's Apollo Theater and needless to say he brought the house down!! India, I COULD NOT WAIT to see you reaction to Treat Her Right because I have seen that video many times and it always makes me jump out of my seat!! I LOVE YOUR REACTION!! It is priceless and you had me dying with laughter🤣🤣🤣 When you jumped out of the chair and when you kicked up your leg I couldn't stop laughing. You definitely made my day!! Thank you!!😊

He was very happily married to his 1st love. Never cheated on his wife! True story! Good man! I'm 65 years old and have had a crush on him since I was 10! Love him and Elvis! They were good friends!! Tom Has aged really well!!!! Loved his TV show and to hear him sing and Dance!! What A Man!!!!!

I've been lucky enough to see Tom 5 times. I used to go with my mom before she passed. Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdink were her favorites. He was still turning them on in the 80s 90s and 2000s! Definitely one of the top panty droppers. I would still go see him today. Some of the best concerts I've ever been to. He and Englebert have had a rivalry for 50 years and they always mention each other at their shows. Love Tom! ❤
