All music production by Tom Krol, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist.
The song was originally an improved club jam for the band until their producer convinced Tom Johnston to finish lyrics and to release the song. The rest is history...
Tom Krol met Jeff "Skunk" Baxter at Universal Recording in Chicago back in 1988.
All music production and vocals performed and recorded by Tom Krol at Level 10 Sound.
Many thanks to Tom Johnston and the Doobie Brothers band for their gracious permission for Tom to use their song to post his version and hopefully enrich the world with a serious groove.

Good job! Many years ago I auditioned for a band and didn't know this song. Didn't get the gig. Went home and practiced it a few thousand times and still play it to this day. Good stuff Tom!

Thank you! btw...Pro rock performers, famous and not, often lower the key center of songs with higher vocal pitches to save the singer from going hoarse during a 2-hour show. They'll also slow down the tempo of songs in large venues with excessive reverberation.

@@TomKrolMusic Absolutely. The last band I was in de-tuned 1/2 step on everything. I'm just a drummer but, took music theory. It helped me a lot. I also slowed down the tempo on pretty much everything. It just sounds better. Thanks man.
