Hey there Sara! First of all thank you for taking the time to comment and for the compliment of the logo. I grew up drawing with my dad as a hobby for both of us but had never done any type of art or design on any electronic device. I also do photography so a few years back I had purchased Affinity Photo on my iPad and they had a sale that allowed me to also get Affinity designer. I never opened designer until a few weeks ago when I decided to make my logo. I basically just opened up a blank document and started experimenting with the tools. I was familiar with layers from photo editing but not the tools used within a graphic design program. Basically it was all trial and error as I enjoy the challenge to try to learn something on my own. Since complete into the logo I have now dove into several KZfaq videos over affinity designer to learn how to be more time efficient. Hope this helps and thank you for the support 👊🙏

That’s an accomplishment that you taught yourself, but I also think that’s really smart that you’re watching done videos to try to be more efficient doing it with your time. I sense that you have some perfectionist tendencies, like I do. If I’m right, then you know how that can be a blessing & a curse. (a blessing because I’m sure you’re very thorough & dedicated, but then on the flip side, sometimes we forget that perfection is unattainable -that’s how I am, at least). Are you still looking for a place that prints tshirts to order?
