You know what's absolutely genius about this song. The first verse he says democracy makes us think we're free but our algorithms make us do what they want. All the reactors pause and talk about it and agree that they aren't allowed to say certain things. Then he the second verse he says that men are turning into woman and taking their spaces and rights and all the reactors just make a face acknowledging he is right, but they are too afraid to say it. I watched a show about the difference in jail time. PISSED me off! One black dude did something I think home invasion or something I can't remember. But he got 17 years and a white dude who did EXACT same thing and got a year!!!!!! Plenty of offers have come Tom’s way. He’s been offered a ton of money. Why doesn’t he sign up with a big label?? Because, 1 he doesn’t have to. He’s successfully had top Billboard hits in the number 1-3 slots repeatedly. 2, he and Nova do EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) on their own so that nobody can muddy the message or use it just for profit. In other words, he has morals and he has values, and they aren’t values that come in stacks of paper. 3, he and Nova maintain complete control over what they create. What the prosper from is directly from what they create and nobody is taking what is rightfully theirs. Except the IRS of course lol! So if you honestly think that the truth is something that wouldn’t work out in the mainstream or the big label world maybe you should question why that is. I mean, facts are facts and maybe that should matter.

The last line reminded me of scripture where Satan tempts Jesus with everything in the world. If Satan didn't have that ability, it fails to be a temptation, therefore its a reality of what Satan can do. The world is orchestrating Satan's 'algorithm' and no single person is controlling it.

As a guy who was a kid in the 80’s. I still think an element of indoctrination is needed and is useful for our society. For instance, we had to say the pledge of allegiance every morning. As long as you are teaching the kids that the flag represents the country and the country is made up of our society. I think it is a good thing. Too many kids have no personal investment in our society as a whole. It is a fundamental thing to have. Otherwise without some sort of personal investment in the society in which we live. There is no motivation to improve it for everyone. It becomes more and more of what you see today. People only want things their way and totally disregard or even demonize opposing views. Societies need commonality and assimilation. It is not always a bad thing.
