Amazing work. Did you use any references to get that pose just right? And I guess they decided not to use that particular pose but went with another...?

Thanks so much Michael! I use references more for the lighting and sculpting of the body then for the actual drawing part itself. They did use this one in a limited quantity for a retailer, they do this a lot with their issues and have other retailer covers done by other artists as well. It is not the "official" cover used in most of their advertising.

No matter what I do I can't get the lines in photoshop to look like the lines you're producing in this video. I mean they actually look like pencil lines. My question is do you have a brush set, or how do you produce the lines that you're using? Is it photoshop? Or is it another program. Thank you. Great video!

Thanks for the kind words! This is easy: I'm using Clip Studio Paint Pro to draw (using their stock pencil brush). That's it! In fact, all of my black & white/line art is done with Clip Studio Paint Pro. Only the coloring was done in Photoshop. Hope this helps!
