DAMN! The "Backup Singers" sounded more like a group of solo singers singing in a choir manner! The guy on the left was so in the zone with his rhythmic hand-movements along with the deep resonating voice you hear when they do the hum. Great stuff:D

Yesterday I saw Dave's 'Born To Die' rap cover ... I was struck by the graceful, respectful intensity of the musicians and the chorus singers, and Dave's quiet somber delivery ... and so too with the backing chorus singers here ... graceful, respectful intensity behind this very sincere lead vocalist ... there is something in Elizabeth Grant's songwriting that draws out the purity of soul ... beautiful ...

I love Tom Odell. I love another love and heal and recognize his talent but sometimes can't get into his other songs. I wish some of his other songs had that slower powerful passion. This is along the lines of what I love about him and some of his songs. (Maybe its because I'm a dance teacher and I seek out certain songs?)

I actually think it's her best friends perspective and she has a crush on her. That's why she also asks about the "bad boy" part, it somehow disappoints her to know, that her friend is still into guys and doesn't want a serious relationship with herself.

the backing vocals + tom's voice make the harmonies sound euphoric. mesmerizing is the only word that springs to mind. so much better, so much more emotion fueled than lana's version 2behonest.
