Great quality for the price but the biggest downfall is only being able to practically use two out of the 6 channels or else you run into interference issues. There is just not enough bandwidth to protect more than 2 to 3 max channels

Great video Tom, can you give a better solution on how to send seperate mix to each musician with the Xvive set up, as not sure how this can be done, can you give a simple breakdown & what I would need & do.

The things you need to send separate mixes to different musicians: 1. Laptop(or anything that serves as a UI with a decent DAW). 2. Digital mixer(usually has multiple outs that can be set with different tracks and mixes through DAW). 3. IEM system(XVIVE U4 or others). 3. Either use a line splitter to send your band's sound to the laptop(for your in-ear mixes) and to front of house(for the live sound) simultaneously. Or just get the feed directly from front of house and into the laptop.

Note that you would need separate transmitter-receiver pairs for every member if you want different mixes for everyone.

You should have summed your stereo feed to mono for a better comparison. Got the idea though.

Question, can you assign each receiver a different “channel” so each can use something like the Q32 app to tweak what they want to get through their mix, or is it more of everyone hears the same mix?

When performers have different monitoring needs, they can set up multiple transmitters. If the receiver is set to the channel corresponding to the transmitter, the audio can be received. That mean the channel of receiver is same with channel of transmitter. Or create mute rehearsal system.

If we buy the standard version 1 transmitter and 1 receiver, can we add more receivers?

The transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel, so they can connect. But the receiver can only connect one transmitter at the same time. One transmitter can send the signal to multiple receivers. If you have any further questions, pls feel free to contact us.😊

Make it so it can be plugged in with a DC cable, and with AA batteries on the pack. I don’t trust batteries long term.

I bought the product today and it arrived. I tried it on my focusrite sound card, but the sound has an annoying sizzle. Any ideas as to why? Otherwise I will have to return it.

Hi, is the Xvive frequency 24khz because our church is many devices with 24khz which may interfere the Xvive . Thanks.

Thank you for the review. One question, I have a Behringer XR18. If I plug into one of the monitor outs on it, can I still get mono in both earpieces? I just I am asking if there are setting on the mixer or U4?

U4 transmitter input is mono,both the left and right channel are the same on the receiver.
