Tom Riddle is the new Defense against the Dark Arts professor and comes to Hogwarts, for reasons many don't understand. Sabrina peaks his interest and Tom decides to enlist her to aid him, though she doesn't know what it is he's planning. When he promises her power and love, she dives into an unbreakable bond to help him. He's brilliant and cold but there's something about him that Sabrina cannot shake. Sabrina falls into trouble quickly, as she underestimated how dark and how deep Tom Riddle is willing to go to get what he wants. What will she do when he takes something from her that she would never forgive? And will she survive it?
Explanation:
Black and White clips (read first, the present will fill in the gaps after) : The past. We start off with seeing Tom Riddle arriving at Hogwarts and teaching his first class, catching Sabrina's attention. We then cut to the future (go to present section). We see flashbacks of Tom and Sabrina's relationship blossom and turn sour has Tom pulls Sabrina more and more into his world of dark magic and death eaters. As horrified as Sabrina is, she refuses to tell Dumbledore anything about Tom and his dark magic. We then cut to the present (see present section). As Tom trusts Sabrina more and more, he decides to take the risk to break out some of the darkest wizards from Azkaban, many of whom have heard of Tom through word of mouth, and are ready to serve a dark lord. Tom forces Sabrina to get the mark and is frankly abusive to get it done. Sabrina is forced back to Hogwarts where she feels isolated from her best friends, and shows them the mark. In a confrontation, that Tom planned and Sabrina found, Tom murdered both Harry and Dumbledore in front of Sabrina.
Color clips: These clips are the present. We start right after Tom has killed Harry and Dumbledore in front of Sabrina. She's reeling but knows that Tom has all the upper hand. They conflict a lot during this time while Sabrina learns more and more about Tom's horcruxes. While Tom knows Sabrina is horrified and furious, he believes she's still in love with him. We cut to the past (see past section). We see Tom's death eaters rise up after they've escaped Azkaban with Tom's help. Sabrina is growing more bitter with Tom has the days go on, and so she goes looking for the Grey Lady (Tom had told her about the diadem as well but not where it was). Helena tells her where the diadem is and Sabrina finds it, and takes it to figure out how to break later. We cut to the past (see past section). Now, Tom has finally taken over the ministry and Sabrina hears about it through patronuses on the streets. Hermione confront her and tells her to leave, and Sabrina does so, with a heavy heart and apologizes on her lips. She is getting desperate now, and after finding Dumbledore's research on Horcruxes, she finally knows how to destroy them. He had slicked the Gryffindor sword in basilisk venom and she could use it to destroy the horcruxes. She goes to get the sword from Dumbledore's office, and run's into Minerva, where they have a heated confrontation. Sabrina exclaims that Harry is dead, meaning she has to be the one to finish this. She has to destroy all of Tom's horcruxes. Minerva looks at her sadly, as Sabrina had once been a very lively bubbly girl she taught at Hogwarts, and was now a battered and bitter woman, hell bent on avenging her best friend. She still pretends as though everything is fine with her and Tom and she is essentially the ministers "wife". But Sabrina is secretly destroying Tom's horcruxes, starting with the locket after he gives it to her as a sign of their "renewed" sense of one with each other. Eventually Sabrina is able to get to the Chamber of Secrets, and stabs the diary with a basilisk fang (honestly just go with it, it's how the diary gets destroyed), but Tom catches her. In their confrontation, Sabrina loses it, and finally unloads the anguish and anger she's been actually feeling towards Tom. He kills her, partly in rage for the other pieces of his soul she destroyed, and partly because of her betrayal to him. Regretting his actions, Tom uses the stone to see Sabrina one last time, and her, surprised that she came to him from the stone , as she had stopped believing that Tom loved her/cared for her at all (in his twisted way).
