This old beauty is just a fun tractor to own and occasionally use to get really cool footage for KZfaq or Instagram. There is a great story behind this tractor as well. I have several 7520s. One is currently getting a 619 upgrade along with a sound-gard cab off a 8640. Currently in the painting process and should be all done next year. Have also done sound-gards on 6030 and 4620 tractors. Google john deere 4820 and you will see the 4620 I did.

That’s interesting! I’ve seen your 4820, very impressive. That’s a lot of work to upgrade these old gems, however I’d say well worth it! Thanks for the comments, I’ll check out your KZfaq!

I spent many hours on one of them. Tough as nails. Pulled 8 -18's plow, 22 ft chisel plow with home built goose neck spring drag and packer. Hard to shift but a beast in it's time.

My grandpa was second owner of that tractor, he put the homemade diff in it. He was on you tube watching tractors and he was so excited to see his old tractor on KZfaq. Anyways he’d like to get in touch with you if your willing
