This season of Vanderpump Rules kicks off with the anticipated opening of TomTom. Lisa Vanderpump channels her energy into making sure her newest venture is the epitome of perfection, but when last-minute problems arise, she must assign more responsibility to her junior partners Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval - whether they're ready or not. After a rollercoaster of a year, Jax finally proposes to his loving girlfriend, Brittany. Although they appear to be getting along better than ever, Brittany breaks down when the group questions Jax's motives. After a painful breakup, Stassi bounces back with an exciting new business deal, an eccentric new boyfriend, and a surprising friendship with Ariana. Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval is on the brink of the greatest success of his professional life, but his personal life remains complicated when he shares an intimate secret about Ariana. Nice to see Tom finally speaking candidly about how he feels Lisa treats them both at times. I think she does it more when she's got an audience which in Lisa's world is quite often! If this working relationship is going to go the distance they both need to start viewing themselves as partners and not employees. They no longer work for Lisa and Ken they work with them. There's a huge difference. They're going to have to grow some big old balls where she's concerned because right now they revert back to little boys whenever they're in her company! You can see the anxiety and nerves wash over them whenever they're asked to speak remotely negatively about anything to do with Lisa, Sur or their new venture.

The thing is, Lisa doesn't necessarily have banter *with* people, she banters at and about people. When so many say they don't like being treated that way, she should stop. When she doesn't, it essentially means she's ok with hurting people's feelings.

What! I can’t believe his mom hid from him his dad had cancer for months! I was wondering why his dads passing was so sudden because usually cancer is progressive and incremental and can be cured early with treatment and doctors usually tell them that with annual check ups. It just was all of a sudden I just thought they knew but didn’t let the audience know

I don't know if Jax is so much jealous as he is envious. I think Jax really feels that his life is slipping away and he hasn't proved himself yet, he hasn't made anything of himself, and he's watching everyone around him taking off. I think that would make anyone feel a little bad, and maybe jealous-but not wanting to see them fail. I have watched this show from the beginning, and I have watched Jax grow over these years. The thing about people trying to change is that when they do actually make an effort, and try to be someone different, and behave differently, they get people tearing them down and saying, "They'll never change...etc." I think Jax genuinely loves Brittany and is trying to become a better man. He will probably mess up again, but that is part of the process of becoming. Brittany loves him enough to go through this journey with him. I hope they make it.

Tom Tom bar was a storyline and gimmick to promote the new bar but clearly no one told the rest of the cast. I feel bad the Toms took this seriously when clearly LVP didn’t but it was pretty obvious, I mean what serious bar owner would ask Schwartz to be a partner even a 5% one.

Erica got it right when she said that LVP is a sniper from the side. Maybe now with Lucy Apple Juice-gate people will start to see it - she's been getting it away for years. Good to see Tom Sandoval speaking his mind - he has really matured recently and speaks up when he sees an injustice.

From season 1 Real Housewives to Vanderpump Rules, this is what she is and HAS always been like, how can people not see this?!

LVP can be a whole lotta fun, but she does constantly dig at people. The episode of RHOBH when they celebrated at Vanderpump Dogs it was clear that John Blizzard was the new target, constant digs and then everyone joining in too - it was hard to watch. He was being told he can't do anything right and to touch anything - if he's that terrible, why is he still around? To make fun of him? It didn't sit right.

I’ll never understand how so many women slept with him. While he was single or in a relationship, he was absolutely revolting. Joe house i agree; however, people love vanderpump rules. people love Tom Schwartz. By putting his name on it, and she KNEW what she was doing, she was already bringing in revenue. If you put Katie’s name on a bar, most people would be like wow Lisa lol no one likes her... but by putting the two toms (two of the most lovable people on the show) she made an instant cash grab. So basically, Schwartz did nothing but be liked by reality tv watchers. And Lisa will make a profit off his likability, and they all know it.

It's why Lisa said he'd never be in charge of the books at Tom Tom after he couldn't count the staff shirts properly, showed up w/ Sandoval drunk in Vegas to meet the bar designer. Ariana is correct, in that Schwartz's constant drunkenness isn't cute anymore, he's not a freshmen frat boy in college anymore. I LOVE the Vanderpeeps and always laugh at their drunk exploits but as beautiful as they are now have they seen pics of pts w/ alcoholic cirrhosis before?

Yea they were stupid for taking a trip first weeks of opening when the buzz is supposed to be around them. Basically it proves Lisa doesn't need them for the restaurant. She was trying to be philanthropic and these bums think she owes them. So sad to see them bite the hand...that basically gave them something they clearly don't deserve

This just seems like the playful banter she always has with the Tom's. Idk why everyone is taking it so negatively. She even laughed and was smiling the entire time. She likes to play the mom with the cast and they have all said before that they enjoy that back in forth with her. People are reading too much into it. And don't forget that combined the Tom's only own like 2% of TOMTOM. People need to also realize that ( _maybe aside from the Tom's now with the bar_ ) none of the cast actually work. The SURvers serve drinks and that's it. They aren't taking orders and bringing out food. They're for show. Katie and Brittany both admitted to that in an article. So why people act like Lisa is treating her hardworking staff like crap is beyond me-- these kids don't work.

See, the RHOBH have figured LVP out, and now the Pump Rules cast is starting to figure it out. These guys need to understand that LVP will always look out for number one, and if she has to make others look bad to do it, then she will. She doesn’t care. She’s been given a lot of power on both shows, she knows it, and she’s rather comfortable in the fact that she can’t be touched. Pump Rules and RHOBH rate pretty highly - Bravo isn’t going to touch that, so she knows she’s safe. The cast of both shows needs to figure this out, because if they don’t, they’re going to find themselves underneath a big pink double decker bus that they can’t crawl out of.

I believe Katie has blinders on. Think Tom is in love with Tom. They both are closet gay men and act like it. Why be in closet in a day when nobody cares or will condemn. The way he disrespects Katie makes it pretty obvious he is it marriage as coverup.

I’d actually be thankful for 1% and the opportunity alone!!! That’s something none of them would have ever had if it weren’t for Lisa! Obviously thy have some money for them all to be buying houses in the million dollar range. Ariana needs to shut up! She does not plan on being tied down to Tom so she doesn’t need to disrespect Lisa on his behalf when she doesn’t want to commit to him. She could be gone tomorrow but he’ll still have Tom Tom... as long as Lisa doesn’t decode to cut it off! Just let them enjoy this

You all know and knew LVP doesn't have your and you all interest at heart. She is all about the business and who is needed to accomplish such endeavors. Word of advise, if you don't have vaca time or filming for VPR, don't go on any splurge vaca. Folks are watching, mommy daddy, and the kids are also. They have no proved she sold stories . First of all she does need the money . Now the ones that have accused her of selling stories , just happened to be having financial problems at the time. Put 2 and 2 together. And it has never been proven she manipulated anyone. These ladies are not stupid .( Well not completely ) . I don't believe they can be manipulated. They did something , then when it didn't turn out the way they thought it would and they had to deal with some backlash . The easy way out is blame it on LVP. Their word against hers. Camille Brandi and Lisa R.and Cedric all have questionable characters. But LVP threw these boys under the bus. Just goes to show you LVP is not perfect. I just hope this was not pre - meditated on her part. Because she made them look bad. ☹️
