Perhaps you're thinking of over-ripe rather than ripe? The window on ripeness can pass quite quickly on some, but under-ripe bananas just taste like sadness 😢

@@KreeTheBasilisk bananas are best when a solid tint of green, and the skin layer often sticks to the fruit when unpeeled. It has a starchy, sweet but deep flavor that is far better than the flat and mushy taste of a ripe banana

The important thing is that you as a creator do what you enjoy and the community and audience fostered around you contribute to that in a positive way.
