In today's video I am cooking up a tomahawk ribeye steak, and I will be reverse searing it on my Pit Boss Pro Series 1600 Pellet Grill! Now a lot of people say that a tomahawk steak isn't worth the money, and I tell those people until you pay for my meat, mind your own business! Reverse searing a tomahawk steak on a pellet grill is easy, and absolutely delicious! To reverse sear this tomahawk ribeye steak, I fired up my pellet grill to 250º and let it smoke with hickory pellets until it hit 115º, after that I cranked my Pit Boss to 400º-500º, opened up my flame broiler, and seared that tomahawk ribeye steak to absolute perfect medium rare! I highly suggest trying this with your next tomahawk steak! I hope you enjoyed this video and if you did be sure LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and RING that bell!!

Great cook. Also appreciate the tip on putting the probe in the meat prior to putting on the grill. I need to use that idea for my future videos. And that steak looks amazing.

That looks awesome. I did this once for my son when I only had a gas grill, it was great, but this is next step, think I will make this for myself for fathers day,, I followed your pulled pork recipe and folks thought it was the best pulled pork they had ever had. I've done a few other things as we'll , but everything is coming off the pit boss is so good. cant wait to do this. hmmm maybe i won't

My experience…. Adding seasoning prior to the smoke does little to nothing for flavor. I also take my steak off smoker at 100 to 110 because 125 leads to an overcooked steak as I’m searing. During my sear I baste the steak with an olive oil infused with my preferred rub. I remove from searing at 125, and add another layer of rub infused oil while it’s resting.

Well the idiots that say you're paying for the bone have not been paying attention to the price. A steak such as the tomahawk or cowboy which both come with large bones in them are usually quite cheaper by the pound. Do some research before ragging on somebody. Cook away my friend.
