Just listening to Cousy talk about Tatum really puts his game into perspective. He mentions Tatums amazing footwork and says he has almost no weaknesses. I’d agree, Tatum can now pass, drive and finish, post up, shoot 3’s and play defence. He may not be particularly spectacular at one thing but the sum of his parts make him quite unstoppable. Anyone who’s played basketball, even pick up ball would know that it’s impossible to guard anyone who can do everything even decently. You can’t leave him open, you can’t let him blow by you, you have to deny passing lanes and you have to body him up. Tatum is the complete package, he may not fit the MVP mould but he’s a champ, he does everything necessary to get his team the win. Phenomenal player at his age.

his shooting from 2020 may never be the same but he's such a good playmaker now

He shot 38% from 3 in the regular season he just didn’t have it in the playoffs. Still avg 25/10/6 tho

too much added muscle mass has hurt his shot esp. off the dribble last 2 years

Haven’t seen a single finals game this season where he was a complete non factor 😭 his shooting is bad he gives u 10 boards and 10 assists with a steal and block. His shooting is good he gives you 30+ points with 10 assists and couple boards.

Because he didn’t earn it. Brown was so much more consistent and played exceptional defense. Plus Brown singlehandedly kept us in the lead late in game 3 when we (including Tatum) stopped playing offense.
